Thanks for visiting my site. Along with all the other things musicial I am invloved in I am also a music teacher. I have been teaching on and off since I was 19 and more extensively in the past few years. I am skilled to teach at any level and any age. I love teaching and would like to help others learn the skills to become the musician that they want to be. Whether it's just a hobby or the pursuit of being a industry professional I will do everything in my power to help you reach your goals to learn the songs that you love. Robbie Teaches: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboard, Piano, Organ, Songwriting & Theory
Biography: Robbie has been playing and writing music since he was seven years old. He is a versatile music teacher with diverse and extensive theory and practical knowledge of the guitar, drums, organ and piano. He is also a Singer/Songwriter and has released 2 full length CD's and one solo album. Robbie has toured Canada twice and performed at 4 major festivals in this country over the past decade: Canadian Music Week, North by Northeast, The Ottawa Tulip Festival and The Halifax pop explosion. Robbie has also performed in Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Florida as well as Bush Gardens. Robbie has extensive live music stage performance experience in which he currently performs all over Southern Ontario several times a week. He has taught private lessons for many years and his most recent experience was a full year of lessons with 22 students ranging from the ages of 5 to 50 at the ARC Music Academy of Fine Arts in Red Deer Alberta in 2005/2006. I charge $25 an hour for lessons at 1 hour per week. I do not believe you can take home enough information in a half hour period. I charge by the month on the first lesson of each month. With each individual student, we offer exercises, songs and techniques to practice that will help you to immediately begin seeing positive results. We believe that anyone can play the any instrument well and take their next step in music. It makes a big difference if you have the right teacher to help you learn the music you love. Most people that have attained proficiency with instruments (including vocal) had someone that take the time to guide them along the way. Much of what is thought of as difficult to play or understand in music is only mysterious until it is explained and practiced
We are offering music lessons from our studio for all ages and skill levels for $25 per hour and $12.50 per half hour for children under 10. We are based out of Breslau which is central to Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo (!0 minute drive from each). Our philosophy is simple, we teach you the songs that you love.
